GMail: Why everyone wants it

GMail is the hottest new trend on the internet. Everyone wants GMail, but not everyone is getting an account. Google is still Beta-testing the service, but with more and more invitations available GMail may become much more common in the near future.

How does one obtain an elusive GMail invitation? Via the Gmail Swap, a popular website devoted to GMail givers and wanters everywhere. Even Slashdot has posted a story about GMail Swap. And if you have an account on Blogger.com, a Gmail invite may just be around the corner.
